Next week sees big travel for INETCO. As Stacy talked about in her blog last week, we’ll be competing in Las Vegas during Payments Innovation Day, as well as showcasing INETCO Insight and INETCO NetStream at the Global Mobile Internet Conference Silicon Valley (GMIC SV). GMIC is Silicon Valley’s largest mobile conference and expo (they expect around 10,000 attendees!), and we’ll be taking part with Vodafone xone – the global incubation initiative of Vodafone group, one of the world’s largest mobile communications companies with over 400 million customers. Needless to say, some pretty big players are involved in this event.
So how is INETCO connected with Vodafone xone?
The purpose of Vodafone xone is to help disruptive mobile solutions mature, which will ultimately benefit Vodafone customers today and in the future. Vodafone xone is turning the start-up incubation model on its head. In addition to being a financial resource for startups, Vodafone xone helps entrepreneurs on an individual basis, offering office space, access to a mobile development/testing environment and strategic business development support that often is foreign (or too expensive) to a typical technical entrepreneur.
Our interest in monitoring mobile applications originates with our mobile banking customers. INETCO Insight was designed to quickly resolve performance issues and make the monitoring of dynamic, complex application environments as simple as possible. The agentless application performance monitoring software is designed to work within any enterprise architecture, such as the 3G/LTE mobile network found within the Vodafone xone… INETCO Insight gives IT operations teams and application developers – like those in the Vodafone xone – a transaction-centric view that clearly identifies if it is the network or the tested application that is having the performance issue.
If you pay close attention to INETCO and Vodafone xone announcements over the next week, you’ll likely hear more about this exciting partnership. Alternatively, come visit INETCO in the Vodafone xone booth (#125) at GMIC SV, being held at the Moscone Center, Oct 22-24. With 10,000 people at the show, it’s bound to be busy, so contact us and we can set up a fixed time for a personal briefing or demo at the show.
